Lluís obtained his Master degree in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer by the Escola Tècnica Superior d’Enginyers de Telecomnunicacions de Barcelona (ETSETB) of the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) in 1995. In 2003 he obtained his Master of Business Administration in General Management (MBA) by the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus Graduate School of Business, in The Netherlands.

Lluís has a wide management and international experience. From 2003 to 2009 he was an engineering manager of the R&D Division of Large Format Printing of Hewlett-Packard in Barcelona. Besides his managerial tasks, leading a team of R&D engineers and setting up new internal processes, he led different activities in order to link the technical research to the end customer, sponsoring “The Laus Design Awards" and the "Rambla Digital d’HP Barcelona”. From 1999 to 2003 he worked for the Hewlett-Packard Company in San Diego, United States, as an expert engineer of the R&D Specialty Printing Systems Division. After 14 years of experience in R&D departments, Lluís has accumulated a dozen patents and inventions in the printing area. 

In 2001 Lluís was co-founder of the Social Responsibility Club of the RSM, the "One Step Further Club." On the same year, his team won the dutch "New Venture Business Plan Competition", sponsored by the consulting firm McKinsey.  At that time, his decided to consolidate his entrepreneur interests and today he is responsible for Budget and Finance, Human Resources, Information and Communication Technologies, and General Services of isardSAT.
