S3 MPC - Land
Support to an operational mission
The main objective of the Sentinel-3 mission is to measure sea surface topography, sea and land surface temperature, and ocean and land surface colour with high accuracy and reliability to support ocean forecasting systems, environmental monitoring and climate monitoring.
This project continues the activities of the S3MPC project (2012-2021), but focusses on the operational performance assessment of the S3 Altimetry Land mission through the analysis of the S3 Altimetry Land products, covering all Inland Waters, Sea-Ice and Land Ice surfaces.
isardSAT is in charge of the instrumental and external calibration of SRAL, the Sentinel-3 altimeter.
